DESCRIPTION

The Photography and Video Coordinator will take high-quality photos and videos for ALIVE Rescue. They’ll produce exciting and up-to-date content of our animals, events, volunteers, and staff. We’ll share this online and in social media, ultimately raising the visibility of ALIVE Rescue and our adoptable animals.

The Photography and Video Coordinator will attend, promote, and document ALIVE Rescue’s events. This includes creating images and videos we can share on social media. Specific responsibilities for this role include...

  • Taking photos of requested animals at The Little Barn, in foster, or at alternate facilities.
  • Documenting long-term residents, cats and kittens, and harder-to-place animals.
  • Taking photos at fundraisers, like the Lucky for Life Gala, Ride Alive, Shelter Shiver, Golf Outing, Big Bonfire, and the Pet Bowl
  • Taking photos at our community outreach programs, including CRISP, the Parvo Prevention Project, CCPC, and Reach Out Days
  • Creating videos for the Social Media Team on important occasions, including Giving Tuesday, holidays, end-of-year adoption slides, birthdays, etc.
  • Creating videos to promote the Introvert for Life Program, Pay It Paw-Ward, and The Big Barn

REQUIREMENTS

The Video and Photography Coordinator will report to ALIVE’s Founder and work with the Social Media Team. W e’re looking for someone who...

  • Can commit to two hours per week
  • Has access to professional equipment (preferred, but not necessary)
  • Can share photos and videos with the ALIVE Rescue team on Dropbox
  • Is comfortable with traveling to events, outreach days, and more

PREREQUISITES

  • Loves animals
  • Has experience in the video and photography field
  • Is knowledgeable about Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.
  • Has attended or will attend a Volunteer Orientation Session at The Little Barn
