Global Green is looking for a real estate advisor to provide pro bono consultative services for the buildout of its Climate Action Center.

The newly opened Global Green Community & Climate Action Center serves as a model in climate resilience and environmental education available for access at the community level.The Climate Action Center community will connect with other coastal cities battling similar climate change impacts to export experience and create a unified front on adaptation to and mitigation of the dangers of climate We're seeking to benefit the local community with this educational / social services facility through the targeted goals of workforce development training, education, and services that serve the neighborhood. We're also seeking partners to host events in the Center that are related to the mission of the Center as an educational and social services facility - as well as related topics (e.g. wetlands, stormwater management, renewable energy, etc.).

Areas where Global Green is seeking consultative pro bono advice include:
a) the space layout and best configurations
b) marketing the space and the local real estate market for office space
c) general advisement on helping the space meet its mission as a Community & Climate Action Center (CCAC) to be a part of a hub that serves the Greater New Orleans Region and will be a place to build awareness, share resources and catalyze innovation.

Global Green has influenced more than $20 billion dollars worth of building construction by encouraging the integration of green building and sustainability practices, and we’ve educated millions of people about climate-friendly solutions through our five annual events, including the green event of the year, our Pre-Oscar Party. Our impact has been felt across the country, particularly in areas affected by disasters such as Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where we led green rebuilding efforts and continue to provide assistance and resources to local residents.
