SPECIAL PROJECT LEAD:
Organ Transplant Support, Inc. is starting a brand new program called the OTS Friends Mentoring Program. We will match pre-transplant patients with OTS members who have already received an organ transplant. This new program will provide confidential, one-on-one support for transplant patients as they navigate the transplant journey. We need an experienced project lead who can work with others to create the OTS Friends Mentoring Program by working on the following:
* Develop a project plan with milestones, activities, etc. Will work with OTS Board on this plan.
* Develop a project budget in partnership with OTS Treasurer.
* Develop a reporting template for program.
* Manage the design and creation of a marketing brochure and flyer to describe the OTS Friends Mentoring Program.
* Design and create training materials for members.
* Develop an intake process and related forms for mentors and mentees.
* Develop a local outreach/promotion plan and promote the program with local outreach, including 6 Chicago transplant centers and associated social workers.
* Provide regular updated to OTS board members.

No transplant knowledge is necessary for this special transplant program. However we do ask that you have your own driver's license and transportation. We need a person who has experience as a project lead for a new program, so that we can introduce this new program to the Chicago hospitals in an effective way.
Organ Transplant Support is a non-profit organization that provides education and support for organ transplant recipients and their families. We provide support in many different ways, and we are looking for a way to reach the transplant families that are on the waiting list for a transplant at one of the Chicago transplant centers.
The OTS Friends Mentoring Program is a very important project, because there is a great need for real, honest information about the transplant process. This program will let OTS reach many more pre transplant patients and we will provide much needed support for those patients. We are looking for a skilled project lead to help us create this program. We have a team of OTS members who are interested in working on this project, plus the support of the Board of Directors. We have received a grant to create this project, and this program is a priority for OTS during 2019.
