Please join us as we celebrate our new brand name (previously "Rising Sun Energy Center") in our new headquarters building! We're having a big Grand Opening event featuring engaging activities, guest speakers including Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, and delicious food and beverages. We anticipate approximately 300 guests.
Event volunteers will document the event by taking photos and/or videos. Our preference is that volunteers bring their own cameras, however, we may be able to provide cameras if needed.

Rising Sun Center for Opportunity has served the greater Bay Area for the past 25 years. We offer green employment and workforce development programs for low-income youth and adults.

- Day of event time commitment is 4 hours. You are also welcome to arrive early (3 pm) to enjoy complimentary pizza. There is an additional time commitment of approximately 1 hour following the event to upload and send event footage.
- Ideally, we are looking for volunteers to provide their own camera equipment.
