COME JOIN THE MOVEMENT! Volunteers needed for the following Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads, June 3-4, 2017 REGISTRATION: Saturday, June 3(6am-8am) Register the cyclists as they arrive at the start line in Richmond, VA and Smithfield, VA. Clean up and break down registration area after they leave for Williamsburg. NEED: 20-25 people Sunday, June 5th (7am-11am) Register the 1-day cyclists and prepare the finish line area for the arrival of the 2-day cyclists. NEED: 20-25 people REST STOP WORKERS: Saturday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 4th (Various times, but a minimum of 4 hours). Prepare and serve snacks, water and Gatorade to the 500 cyclists in Wiliamsburg and 500 cyclist in Smithfield who will be passing along the route from Richmond to Williamsburg and from Smithfield to Richmond. NEED: 20 people/day CHEERLEADERS: Sunday, June 4th (9am-3pm) Cheer at the finish line in Richmond and Smithfield. Also pass out Bike MS finisher medals, as well as wet cloths to cyclists. NEED: as many people as possible! CLEAN UP CREW: Sunday, June 4th (1pm-5pm) Help with breaking down finish line site, storing the supplies and disposing of all garbage. NEED: 10-20 people. SAG DRIVER: Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 4th (all day) This is a weekend commitment to drive an SUV along the route both days to pick up and assist cyclists. You will be staying overnight in Williamsburg. A DMV background check is required for this position. NEED: 15 people - JOIN THE FUN AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
