We are searching for cosmetologists who are interested in making a difference. Your skills and presence could really bring joy and comfort to hospice patients and their families. One of the needs that we have been hearing a lot from our patients and families recently is for someone to cut patients' hair. Generally, our patients are home or facility-bound, and unable to go out for services such as hair cuts. That is where you - and your skills and talents and desire to serve - would come in.
We are looking for hospice volunteers who can:
- Provide patients with cosmetology services, mainly haircuts but manicures and other similar services would also be beneficial
- Offer companionship and a supportive presence as you provide patients with services.
Please keep in mind you will be serving as a volunteer, so services provided will be free.
