Bustin Barriers is looking for a special person to be on our Board of Directors who has expertise in Marketing and or Fundraising, with at least 10 years of experience in the field. We meet for a board meeting one Wednesday night a month with regular committee meetings.

Among the Board’s responsibilities are monitoring Bustin’ Barriers’ fiscal strength and stability, safeguarding and managing its assets and donations, participating in the development of a strategic plan and long-range goals for the agency, adopting and overseeing compliance with appropriate Board policies governing its activities, assessing Bustin’ Barriers success in achieving strategic and program performance goals, and evaluating the performance of Bustin’ Barriers’ executive director and setting his or her compensation on an annual basis.

Bustin Barriers is the outgrowth of passion: a love of sports - and sharing them with individuals of all abilities; a commitment to inclusion and the belief that individuals experiencing disability, regardless of financial resources, deserve the opportunity to be active, be involved in sports activities, have fun and enjoy meaningful socialization in a safe environment.
