We are looking to expand our membership and Board of Directors. Opportunities to volunteer range from simple tasks (e.g. taking meeting notes, developing meeting materials, sending out meeting reminders, updating facebook page) to more time intensive tasks (e.g. event planning & coordination). The sky is the limit as we are just getting started and we brainstorm at our monthly meetings. Sign up for email updates!

Mission Statement
To support implementation of a community vision for Cohn Arboretum, in coordination with the Parks and Recreation Commission of East Baton Rouge Parish (BREC), to bring together people, plants, and art for an improved quality of life for the citizens and visitors of East Baton Rouge Parish.
Description
We are just getting started and are looking to expand our Board of Directors and membership. We plan to host 2 events this year, one in the spring and one in the fall, focused on bringing people, plants, and art together. Our long term vision is to create a botanical garden paradise for people to come reflect, heal, and get inspired. We hope to establish a venue for celebratory events and farm-to-table cafe and gift shop once the 1924 Arts & Crafts style bungalow is renovated by BREC.
