Join Holston Habitat for Humanity as we build walls for two families as part of the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Lunch will be served from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.)
The event will be held in conjunction with a special celebration hosted by the cities of Bristol, TN & Bristol, VA near the Bristol train station. We will build walls in the gravel parking lot behind the Virginia District Court House (off of Lee Street near Cumberland Square Park).

Description
We are the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We are a nonprofit, housing ministry that partners with qualified applicants to build affordable housing.
We use volunteer labor and contributions of money and materials to build and repair homes for our qualified applicants.
Since our founding in 1985, we have built, repaired or refurbished homes for over 260 individuals and families in Carter, Sullivan and Washington counties and the city of Bristol, VA.
