Is 2019 the year that you make a difference? Do you feel that life seems to have a greater purpose when you volunteer your time and your heart to help others?
Volunteer opportunities are available at Kindred Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients at local healthcare facilities or in their personal home in New Bedford and surrounding areas.
Volunteers are there to listen and talk, read a book, play cards or watch a favorite TV show. Volunteers also provide special support including playing music or working on craft projects. No matter what your skills, talents, or motivation, we have the opportunity for you to help!
*No hands on direct care is required or expected of our volunteers.
*Volunteers schedule their own visits- Day/time.
*Volunteers receive training that fits into your schedule.
