Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is looking for caring people to act as Volunteer Mentors to kids aged 6-18 years old. Mentors can be one-on-one or small groups. Mentors will meet with their mentee at the Boys & Girls Clubs and help with homework, play games, and discuss day-to-day events, among other things. Mentors are highly encouraged to meet once a week, for at least one hour. Please consider committing to at least 3 months towards mentorship. Consistent relationships are what we strive to give our Club members.
Mentoring with Boys & Girls Clubs is a bit less formal than other mentor programs, as we do provide plenty of activities for you and your mentee to take part in every day. Mentors and mentees must stay on site during meetings.Volunteers generally serve between the hours of 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and we ask that you plan to commit to serving at least four hours per month for a minimum of 3 months.

Since 1986, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County has been at the forefront of youth development, working with young people in Larimer County.
We are there, every day, when kids are the least supervised and the most vulnerable - after school from 2:30pm to 7:00pm, Monday though Friday, and all day during the summer and other school out days.
Thanks to our affiliation with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we have a lineup of tested and proven nationally recognized programs that address today's most pressing youth issues: teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life.
Our kids are becoming better people and better members of the community - our future citizens, our future labor force and our future leaders.
