MHS provides free pet food and supplies to families in need through our Pet Pantry Program at our warehouse in Detroit. Currently we are in need of a dedicated volunteer who is available for a weekly Wednesday morning role managing our client intake process.
In this position, you will register new Pet Pantry clients, provide free sterilization vouchers, and assist clients by distributing their food and supplies if needed. Volunteers should have legible handwriting, be comfortable working with low-income populations, and be passionate about providing assistance to families and pets in need.
