Kids to Park Day is a fun day full of outdoor adventures and activities. Kids will learn a variety of outdoor "survival skills" such as creating their own wildlife habitat, making art with natural materials, building a water scope to explore streams and ponds. The kids will also enjoy the beauty of the park and take part in a scavenger hunt
Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Set up help from 9am to 10am
- Event help from 10am to 2pm
- Breakdown help from 1 to 3pm
Volunteers are required for:
- Help with set up
- Directing participants/parking guides
- Lead or assist at outdoor skill-building activities eg shelter building etc
- Assist with participant check-in
- Help with scavenger hunt etc
- Help with breakdown
