International House is hosting its 31st annual benefit gala this year. Each year this event is organized by a group of women that work on the silent auction, live auction, decorations, marketing, and entertainment for the event. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join the committee to help with entertainment and/or the silent auction.
The committee meets once a month, on the third Thursday of the month, from 9:30am-12pm. Each committee member is a part of a sub-committee (such as decorations) that meets at different times during the month to discuss and plan for the upcoming event.
This year's event is October 5th and the country we are spotlight is Ireland.
Please only reach out if you can attend the majority of the meetings, are willing to put in the time and effort for this event, and have some experience working on a committee or with a large event planning group.
Contact Samantha Williams, swilliams@ihclt.org for more information.
