Veterans are enrolled in the TALMAR and the Veterans' Administration 2019 pilot program, which trains veterans in sustainable agriculture using classroom and practical experience.
Volunteers will help prepare and serve lunches to the veterans who are participating in the Farm Training Program. Lunches will be served:
- Monday through Saturday through May 18.
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from May 20 through August 23.

Description
TALMAR provides vocational and horticultural therapy programming to youth and adults of all abilities. We also train military veterans in sustainable agriculture through a partnership with the Veteran Administration. Our farm provides services to individuals and groups throughout the season. We are a working vegetable and cut flower farm in Parkville MD.
