Do you love to plan events? Or are you a natural networker? Bring your event planning, people skills, and other talents to our Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning Committee!
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise
awareness and money for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Use your talents and strengths
as a member of the Walk Planning Committee.
Choose to work on Logistics, Recruitment, Retention, Sponsorship or Mission sub-committee. New members are welcome at any time. Meetings are held at Immaculate Conception Church 715 Cabrini Dr. Lafayette on the first Thursday of each month starting March 5 th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
The Boulder Walk to END ALZ will be held on Saturday morning August 8 th on the University of Colorado campus.

Mission Statement
We lead Colorado in the fight against Alzheimer's disease and related disorders by increasing the understanding of dementia and its impact on family and community, providing information and support for those affected, and promoting the advancement of research.
Description
The Alzheimer's Association Colorado Chapter works with diagnosed individuals, families, caregivers and health care professionals to provide care and support for those who are affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. We provide a 24/7 Helpline; offer free and confidentail Care Consultations; manage 90 support groups monthly; oversee Memories in the Making art program in area nursing homes; present educational programs across the state; and assist in enrolling persons with the disease in safety programs. We offer culturally approptiate support for Latinos, African Americans and the LGBT community. Several time during the year we have fundraising events, including: The Walk to END Alzheimer's, The Longest Day, the Memories in the Making Gala and Riv/ALZ.
