Engineers, Techies, Makers, and DIYers for Green Communities!

WiseTribe is seeking Engineers, Techies, Makers, and DIYers to help us advance Green Communities in Palm Beach County!

Our Junior WiseTribers program promotes youth leadership, STEM learning, food equity and security, community wellness, and environmental stewardship. We need your help to provide training in agricultural and technological innovations in after-school programs and Saturday Green Markets throughout Palm Beach County.

There are two ways you can get involved:

1) Join us as a facilitator at local green markets on Saturdays as we pop-up maker spaces to show people how simple it is to construct low cost backyard growing and farming technologies. We'll supply the designs, materials, and a little bit of training. You need to be good with explaining things to people, including kids, and be good with tools.

2) Join us a mentor to aspiring young minds from Title 1 middle schools that want to build green communities through a Agri-Tech projects which require mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineers to pass on a bit of their wisdom.


We work from a vision of putting our youth on a pathway to changing how we think about a healthy planet. Your knowledge, skills, and experience will help shape the next generation of leaders in science, math, engineering, and food production, while ensuring equitable and sustainable access to healthy food for all. We are seeking mentors who can commit to working with approximately 5 to 6 students for 4 to 5 hours per month.
