OACC is looking for volunteers to help with their Lunar New Year celebration!
The event runs from 11am-3pm. Volunteers are needed to setup/cleanup before & after the event, staff registration/project tables, supervise activity rooms, assist performing artists backstage, and more!

ABOUT THE EVENT
Join OACC and partners on Sunday, February 10, 2019, for our free Annual Lunar New Year Celebration to welcome the Year of the Boar! The event will feature performances such as Lion Dancing, Chinese folk dance, Mongolian folk dance, guzheng/zither, taiko drumming and more to be announced!
The event will also include arts and crafts activities and a Family Reading Celebration with story time and music class especially geared towards children under 8 years old. The first 50 participants will receive a new children’s book for free (presented in partnership with Eastwind Books and Go!Mandarin Music Class with support from the Oakland Literacy Coalition).
