Animal Care Volunteers fulfill one of our crucial daily functions at the sanctuary-- providing our beautiful family of residents with the ongoing care they need to live long, safe and healthy lives! Responsibilities including mucking and spot cleaning animal stalls and living areas, checking and cleaning water troughs and reservoirs, refilling hay or other feed as necessary, and helping to maintain tidy and organized barns. Time is also reserved at the end of care shifts for providing companionship and visiting with the nearly 50 farmed animals that call the sanctuary their forever home.
Care shifts take place twice per day, every day of the week:
AM Care is from 9am-11:30am
PM Care is from 4pm-6pm
Shifts may run long or end early, depending on the specific circumstance of the day. We appreciate your flexibility!
Luvin Arms care staff and volunteer leadership are always present at each shift to provide you with resources and the tools and information you need to succeed.
Orientation is required; register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/luvin-arms-animal-care-orientation-registration-35109643890
