Core Volunteer Opportunities
No matter what your experience or skill level, there's a role for you at EcoWorks.
We are currently looking for a volunteer:
- to take photos of our inventory
- to assist with additional digital/web-based projects as needed for marketing needs
- and/or to fill in any of the following areas:
Volunteers at Ecoworks:
- may spend time sorting and displaying our donations including packaging small materials, sorting buttons and beads, reorganizing materials. This will help us keep the store organized and amazing.
- might help us make our workshops welcoming by orienting participants, keeping tools and materials organized, inspiring participants, making examples, helping participants create one-of-a-kind masterpieces, and more.

To promote resource conservation, creativity, education and community engagement through material reuse, art, waste reduction, recycling, composting and zero waste strategies.
Description
Creative Reuse Center; we sell low-cost art supplies to support teachers, artists and other creative people. Materials are industrial scrap and business surplus in addition to donations from individuals. 2. reBoutique gift shop; consign with Connecticut based artists who use reclaimed materials in their work. 3. reCraft; we provide workshops and classes as well as a DIY maker-space Crafteria). We also offer workshops on how to use the scrap and environmental classes. We also house a reBoutique gift shop that showcases upcycled and repurposed goods made by CT artisans.
News Flash: We have moved to 89 State Street, North Haven. Just want to let you know that there are no buses that run to out new store. We''ve packed everything up at the store and most of our materials are now in the new store. Our challenge is going to be unpacking and setting up our new store. We're not quite ready for new volunteers at this time. However, by mid August we will be thrilled to have lots more hands! If you're interested you can still send us an email.
