The San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation is an official charity partner of the 2020 Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon & Half Marathon on Sunday, January 19, 2020. We're excited to be hosting one of the water stations and providing course support again this year and we need 80 volunteers to join us as we cheer on 10,000 runners and help keep them hydrated and safe on the course.
You'll receive a FREE race crew shirt, lots of warm love in a mug (aka coffee/tea/hot cocoa!), a light breakfast and a beautiful beach sunrise. This event will also earn you eight (8) hours of community service and the loving adoration of all those runners.
Volunteers are needed from 5:30am until approximately 10:45am on Sun., Jan. 19th.
This is a fantastic opportunity for families and school groups, and it is a wonderful team-building activity for local businesses.
