Terry's House provides an affordable, safe and supportive residence for families, from out of town, while their loved ones receive care at Community Regional. Our purpose is to keep families close in the time of need by providing a comfortable, convenient place to stay.
We are looking for Receptionist Volunteers to greet and interact with visitors and guests at Terry's House. They will also help with guest services and assisting with departmental projects. Qualifications include: excellent customer service skills, computer and phone experience.
These functions are designed to enhance and support the overall mission of Terry's House.

Our home away from home provides an affordable, safe and supportive residence for families while loved ones receive care at Community Regional Medical Center. Our purpose is to keep families close in their time of need by providing a comfortable, convenient place to stay.
Community Regional Medical Center has the only comprehensive burn and Level 1 trauma centers between Sacramento and Los Angeles. When a critically ill or injured patient arrives at Community Regional, family is usually close behind. Many families who come from out of town are already dealing with crisis and often left with no place to stay. Many can’t afford hotel rooms and restaurant meals for long stretches of time - especially when faced with unknown medical expenses. Thankfully there’s Terry’s House! Terry’s House is a 17,000-square-foot, 20-room hospitality home located adjacent to the hospital. It is a place where families can eat, sleep, cook and shower - helping families stay strong for their loved one in the hospital. Since 2011, we have served nearly 3,200 families from 42 states, 22 foreign countries and 3 U.S. Territories. Terry’s House is solely dependent on donations from the public.
