Role and Responsibilities
- Volunteers will help with childcare to help with the monthly support groups. In March we will use volunteers to help with our 6 week parenting class that will meet on Wednesday evenings.
- Volunteers will assist with supervision of the children while their parents are in class or group.
- After class or group, volunteers assist with clean-up of the toys and room as needed.
- Each group or class is two hours in length, so including any clean-up time they would be needed for about 2.5 hours at a time.
- A meal will be provided, as well as compensation TBD for amount.
- Be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation.
- Willing to commit to volunteering through entire class schedule so that the young people have some consistency.
- Complete APS/CPS background checks after application is received.
- Previous child care experience.
- Time Commitment: Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks starting the first week of March, 4:30-6:30 PM
