We need volunteers to join our Recruitment team! At the American Red Cross, over 90% of our workforce are volunteers. We need volunteers to work in the San Francisco area to recruit volunteer, build partnerships, and share the Red Cross story!
Some specific position details are as following:
- Implement the Volunteer Recruitment strategy and plan for the region in coordination with the Volunteer Manager
- Develop a recruitment network throughout the region using internal and external partners
- Work with departments to recruit current volunteers for new opportunities and leadership positions
- Equip departments with tools they need to make a pitch for volunteering when they are out in the community talking about the Red Cross
- Manage research, planning and execution of recruitment events
