Seeking enthusiastic gardeners to "adopt a garden bed" at the Art School of Columbia County on the historic grounds of our 1880 schoolhouse. Meet with us for a tour, and select a garden bed from 12 different garden areas, ranging from a alpine planting to fern bed and perennial gardens. You would care for your adopted bed over a season (April-October). After an initial meeting and training, you may come to work as your time permits. Or, you may come for special garden days to help care for ASCC's grounds. We have 360 degree views of the surrounding farmlands, and are a restful and easy-to-access site. Help make our grounds a place of beauty for free children's education programs, art students, and the community to enjoy. Thank you.
