The Business Technology Academy is a small learning environment on the Woodside High School campus. Students interested in learning more about a career in Information Technology choose to enter the 3-year program which includes classes in English, Social Studies, Math and Computer Applications. To enhance the student curriculum, we are planning a symposium for our sophomore students.
We will start the day with a Keynote Speaker and then have divided the morning up into 2 sessions:
Session 1: Career Round Tables 9:40-10:30 professionals will speak in a small group format about their career, educational background, give a brief job description and offer the pros & cons of their field. Students will have 15 minutes with each professional and then rotate to the next. Ideally, professionals from a wide variety of careers will be represented.
Session 2: Alum Student Panel - FULL.
