Local NWA nonprofit Living Lively is seeking volunteer coordinators for its Kindred Spirits Program. This is a volunteer based position and is unpaid at this time. We need your help! You can play a vital role in Living Lively's mission to end loneliness in the Northwest Arkansas aging community by facilitating match ups between volunteers and isolated elder participants.

Duties consist of:

1) Meeting and interviewing volunteers and isolated elder participants to assess personalites and interests

2) Using information drawn from these interviews to select volunteer/partcipant matches

3) Overseeing the introduction of volunteers and isolated elder participants

4)Maintaining weekly contact with both volunteer and partcipant to ensure that meetings are being scheduled and honored by both parties, that the match and activities are satisfactory, and that there are no issues or concerns.

Personal transportation is required to meet and interview prospective volunteers and isolated elder particpants. Applicants should expect to commit to at least two days each month, one for in-person interviews and one for initial meetings between volunteers and participants. Applicants should be easily accessible by phone and text.
