We all want a chance to learn, grow, have fun and share our talents with others, don't we? People with developmental disabilities share our enjoyment of these activities just like typical people. Unfortunately, transportation is a barrier for many people with developmental disabilities. You can open up unlimited opportunities by providing companionship and a ride!
Become a Community Friend Volunteer and help someone who is looking to get out more. Watch a movie, visit a museum or attend a concert, a ball game, or simply go to lunch or dinner. Outings vary from as little as once a month to weekly and everyone pays for their own expenses.
