Title: Boutique - Donation Sorting and Fill Care Package Orders

Position Summary: Volunteers play an integral role in sorting donated goods to identify items that are seasonal, classic or in-style items of clothing, jewelry, accessories, shoes and other items. These items are used in Jubilee’s free boutique for residents, alumnae, and other women in the community. This position will also assist with filling care package orders for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort donations for the free community boutique.
    • Maintain organization of boutique sorting and storage room.
    • Ensures sorting room and boutique are clean and that the boutique is a welcoming space for the community.
    • Take out recycling and trash after shift.
    • Manage space to ensure room for new donations.
  • Fill clothing orders for the community.
  • Rotating clothing and accessories out of the boutique when the items have been in there for 2 weeks and bagging up to donate to another non-profit.
Time Commitment: 2-4 hour shifts M-Th 9am-5pm and F 9am-4pm. We will work with your schedule! Whether you can volunteer once a month or multiple times a week, we need your support to ensure we are meeting the needs of our residents and community during COVID-19.

  • We ask that volunteers stay in this role for 3 - 6 months.
  • Once you express interest, we will send you a short application, which includes a WA state background check. Most training is on-the-job.
