March 23- Special Event - Interplanetary 5K Race
Volunteer shift: 7:30-10 am
7:30 am- 10am (probably 5 volunteers for food prep, race day registration and packet pickup, putting water on the course)
8:15-10 am (about 5 more volunteers to be course monitors and help at the finish line)
Event: 8:15 - 10 am
Location: Auditorium/Outside
Help give people their packets for the race, make sure they have the correct bag, bib and chip, and assist as needed for other race day prep. Please RSVP to help with this event by 3/12/19.

The volunteer mission is to supplement the mission of the Peoria Riverfront Museum by providing genuine hospitality to visitors, engaging visitors in educational programming, assisting with the interpretation of exhibitions, and inspiring the community through the value of volunteer service.
The Peoria Riverfront Museum is a one-of-a-kind collaboration where visitors can explore and learn about the world--from our own backyards to far-off galaxies. We focus on interdisciplinary learning--a fusion of art, history, science, and achievement designed to develop knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong passion for learning.
