FIRST LEGO League Challenge has more than 200 teams (9-14-year-olds) in Maryland and a supportive community of local partnerships hosting 12 competitions from January - February 2022. Judging for the competitions will be all REMOTE this season. A technical or robotics background is NOT required for Judges (although these are fun roles for engineers & techies). Besides building a LEGO robot, teams this season develop innovative solutions to TRANSPORTATION. Judging categories are Project (transportation systems), Robot Design (technical understanding of hardware, software, or design), and Core Values (teamwork). Training is provided. Judges need to be 21 years or older. Other positions are also available.
