About the Volunteer Role:
Come help weed, spread mulch, and care for our plants at our Early Education Center's garden!
When/Where:
This event will take place at our Early Education Center at 12120 Wagner St. Culver City, CA 90230 on Saturday, August 3. The garden is open to volunteers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is both free parking on our lot and street parking in the surrounding residential area.
How to sign up:
Please email the volunteer manager at volunteers@alliesforeverychild.org to sign up for this event. You will need to complete a Special Events volunteer intake packet.
About Allies for Every Child:
Formerly known as Westside Children's Center, Allies for Every Child exists to serve Los Angeles' most vulnerable children. We are child wellbeing experts, early learning educators, social workers, therapists, and child advocates who meet every child and every family where they are. We intervene to alleviate chaos, engender stability, treat trauma, and ultimately ensure that all children have a childhood. We do this by providing high-quality early education programs, family strengthening interventions, foster care and adoption services, and integrated services.

See below for a sampling: - Classroom Helpers in our preschool and toddler classrooms - Administrative projects, filling, data entry, etc; - Weekend events, large and small - Holiday gift wrapping - Toy drives - Childcare during several parenting classes and meetings - Help maintaining our organic children learning garden - The list goes on!
