♫♫♫♫ Can you play a guitar, banjo, key board, ukulele or any other instrument or can you sing? ♫♫♫♫
Then We Can use You on Our Volunteer Team for Music Therapy for Our Patients.
Did you know that Music is a Universal Language that our patients understand it no matter where they are in their journey? They enjoy listening, singing along, clapping, tapping their toes, doing chair exercises to the music and some of them even get up and dance to the music.
Music is very therapeutic for them, it brightens up their day and lifts up their spirits.
We do Special Events for our patients at Group Homes and Assistant Livings and could use musical entertainment for those events also.
You can also play your instrument at the bedside of patients at the end of their life. This can be a huge blessing and comfort to the patients as well as their loved loves during that time.
We offer flexible schedules to meet your availability with limited minimum time requirements. Our Volunteers can visit our patients any day of the week including weekends, it’s what fits your schedule.
