The MHS Rochester Hills Center for Animal care is searching for volunteers to provide support to our Shelter Medicine Team who care for the many animals waiting for their forever homes. Shelter Medicine Assistants will assist technicians during behavior or medical assessments, prepare surgery cards and medical charts, transport and feed post-surgery animals as directed among other needs.
No previous animal care experience is needed - you just need to love them and be eager to learn! We will provide all the training necessary for this role. All interested volunteers will complete an interview before being accepted for this role.
