Everyone likes to feel good about themselves and as a Hairstylist Volunteer you can help our patients look and feel good about themselves! As a Hairstylist Volunteer you may provide haircuts to select patients in homes and facilities. To be eligible to volunteer in this capacity, you must have a current Cosmetology License with the State of South Carolina.Are you a hair stylist or Barber that is looking to volunteer once a month to provide hair cuts to home bound hospice patients?

Hospice programs generally are home-based, but they sometimes provide services away from home -- in freestanding facilities, in nursing homes, or within hospitals. The philosophy of hospice is to provide support for the patient's emotional, social, and spiritual needs as well as medical symptoms as part of treating the whole person.
