ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY

Help us keep our seniors encouraged!

Encouragement cards can be made at home with your own supplies or at our site with our supplies. We also take blank cards as donations.

Here are the current guidelines for our cards:
Please do NOT:
-Use any mention of religion or religious holidays (Merry Christmas, Prayers, etc.)
Please DO:
-Let our seniors know they are being thought of
-Use general sayings such as Enjoy Your Meals, Someone's Thinking of You, Happy Holidays, Winter Wishes, etc.
-Standard greeting card size or smaller. (cards need to fit into our snack boxes)

For toddlers and young children who are learning to spell, they can create the art and the parents can help out with writing the sayings/phrases.

To foster and support seniors who seek to stay in their homes as long as possible through the provision of essential home-based services.

Description

Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY provides Meals-On-Wheels, medical and specialized transportation, and independent living assistance services to seniors and disabled individuals in Greater Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Our programs also include Pet Portions, which provides free food to our clients cats and dogs, and PetKare, which provides clients with vouchers to be used at local select veterinary facilities for their pet's care. Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY also partners with more than 60 WesleyLinks churches to help seniors in their congregations secure information and services that will help them stay in their homes as long as possible.
