Actor’s Rep is looking for a Development Coordinator to manage its fundraising activities and donor stewardship. This is an unpaid, volunteer position. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to make a difference in the community and to gain valuable fundraising and donor management experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Development Coordinator will manage these activities:

• Prospect and solicit major donors
• Donor stewardship, communications, renewals and recognition
• Fundraising events
• Identify and approach potential business partners / sponsors
• Support the efforts of our volunteer grant writer
• Coordinate the activities of our development interns
• Maintain a campaign / donor database
• All general fundraising activities as needed

Requirements

• Fundraising experience
• Project Management skills
• Leadership Skills: the ability to coordinate the efforts of other volunteers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• The ability to build strong relationships with new people and organizations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Event Planning experience
• Grant Writing experience
• Familiarity with any donor management or CRM software

Time Period

We are asking for a minimum 1-year commitment with an average of 8-10 hours per week. Many of the tasks can be completed from your home.
