The farm can use volunteers with these skill sets:
* Carpentry
* Small engine repairs
* *ESPECIALLY TRACTOR REPAIRS*
Please check in with marc@foodshuttle.org for more information on special projects for those skilled in these areas.
The Food Shuttle Farm is open from 9am-12pm and 1-3:30pm generally M-F. If the weather is too messy just like any outdoor opportunity the volunteer shift has the potential to be cancelled.

Description
We engage communities facing hunger to understand their unique needs and barriers. Then by building relationships and engaging our neighbors, we create programs and initiatives that meet specific needs, breaking the cycles of poverty, restoring dignity and improving the health of our community. We have served the seven counties of central NC for over 32 years and are a member of the Feeding America network of 200 food banks across the nation.
