About Us: Resurrection Roller Derby is a Sonoma County roller derby league based out of Rohnert Park. We're volunteer run, with the mission of promoting the sport and providing opportunities for athletes in the North Bay region. Our league is growing fast, with plans to do even more moving forward.

The Role: Help design and manage our inventory of merchandise sold through the online store and in person. Work with our art teams to come up with short run items, and use your expertise to help us decide what the best investments will be.

Our league will be updating our web presence with an online store soon, and we hope to sell both branded and non-branded merchandise related to the sport of roller derby. Online ordering is handled through a Woo Commerce/Wordpress site currently, connected to a drop ship supplier. Other suppliers may be used for select in person products. You can manage the lines through the site, help sell and inventory in person or any combination of the two.

Why You Should Do It: For one, this is going to be a lot more fun that what you normally do. Why? Roller derby is cool, we're cool, and you get to join in our coolness. You'll also get to watch the organization grow and know you helped make that happen. You'll of course get to use us as a reference, that goes without saying. We do whatever we can to recognize and reward volunteers for their hard work. And if you want to try something new or learn a new technique, we'll support you. This is a great opportunity to develop a skill set or refine one you already have. Did I mention that we're cool and fun to hang out with?

Commitment: About 6 hours per month is reasonable for this position and related positions. We are very flexible on time commitment. If you work best by doing one marathon session to plan everything out that's fine, we'll support whatever works for you. In person selling and inventory work is a volunteer option, but if it doesn't fit with your schedule it isn't required.
