We are seeking an experiened volunteer to complete curriculum for our VIP Works Vocational Training Program. We have all of the necessary information needed to complete the curriculum. However, we do not have the expertise needed to complete the writing of the program.

Knowledge of the skills training is not required. We have all of the training materials ready and available to be put together in a curriculum format. Experience with writing curriculum is a plus!

VIP Works is a 16 week vocational training program for adults with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). We provide both hard skills labs and soft skills labs that teach the following skills:

Hard Skills Lab
* Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Wordpress
* Input text, graphics, ads, photos in publications
* Use software tools for formatting and editing
* Update graphics, text, content on website pages
* Access & manipulate data in shared documents
* Input information into prescribed templates

Soft Skills Lab
* Social communication in the workplace
* Collaboration and team skills
* Time management
* Conflict resolution in the workplace
* Following instructions
* Problem solving to resolve challenges

ASD Adult Achievement Center is a non-profit provider of services for individuals with ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Founded in 2016, ASD Achievement serves adults 18 and over who desire greater independence. ASD Achievement provides training and education in the areas of independent life skills, social skills, executive function skills and job readiness skills to Central Florida residents.
