MissionSee is seeking a Development Coordinator to help in its fundraising and development efforts. Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director, the Development Coordinator is responsible for helping, creating and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns, managing donor relationships, securing collaborative partners, donations and sponsorship support, and promoting awareness of MissionSee.

Ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills in order to work effectively with staff, board members, donors and sponsors. MissionSee is a new organization in an extended period of growth. This position will play a key role in driving organizational effectiveness, community reputation, and growth on an entirely new scale. To be successful, the person in this position will be entrepreneurial, creative, knowledgeable about key marketing and fundraising methods, adaptive, and eager to take on new challenges.

The Development Coordinator works closely with staff in managing MissionSee’s marketing and communications programs in alignment with the mission and vision of the organization. Creates and implements organizational communications, ensuring a consistent brand experience. Plans and executes effective marketing and strategic communications initiatives and projects that build the MissionSee brand, strengthening relationships with key constituencies.

The Development Coordinator works with executive leadership to chart MissionSees’ course in fund development; recommends short- and long-range fund development plans and programs that support the organization’s values, mission and general objectives; and develops a balanced funding mix of donor sources and solicitation programs tailored to the needs of MissionSee, that will enable us to attract, retain and motivate clients, donors, fundraising volunteers and leadership.

  • Background Check
  • Virtual, remote or work from home on your hours. Meetings and annual training/team building will be scheduled in advance and generally fall Monday-Friday. Communication and timely work is key.
  • Proven success writing and securing grants, increasing financial resources and creating new partners •Demonstrated record of attracting and securing significant gifts from both corporate and individual donors.
