Impact: This position supports The Well CDC’s Restoring Housing Initiative to restore blighted homes which will be sold or rented at affordable rates to community members. Through this process, we provide landlord accountability by competing with slum landlords; provide access to affordable and quality housing for low-income families and individuals; and provide housing stability which impacts civic participation, educational achievement, and community buy-in.

Tasks and Responsibilities: Assist the Housing Director with home repair and restoration activities on blighted properties, including but not limited to, painting, drywall, flooring, framing, door installation, trim work, and demolition.
