WREN's board is a working board, meaning that they not only provide valuable insight into WREN's direction, but offer help in areas including fundraising, program leadership, education, and grant-writing. Volunteer board members are asked to serve for 2-years and meet on the third Wednesday of every month (we are currently meeting virtually from 4:45-6:45). You need not have any experience to join our active and enthusiastic team. For more information, please contact WREN's Program Coordinator, Laura Maloney at info@wewetlands.org.

About WREN
Location:
751 S. Danebo Ave., Eugene, OR 97402, US
Mission Statement
To practice and promote land stewardship through education, partnerships, and scientific research.
Description
The Willamette Resources and Educational Network (WREN) was born of a community-acknowledged need which was addressed in the West Eugene Wetlands Plan. WREN embarked on the development of an environmental education program that would help community members understand the importance and need for long term stewardship and preservation of the wetlands. As a result, these public lands are a resource that will be enjoyed and appreciated for years to come.
Since 2002 WREN has served more than 50,000 community members, through classroom outreach programs, field trips, family exploration days, wetland wanders, adult trainings and workshops, and community outreach events.
