Start the year off with some fun activities that do good for others! Such as playing games with our little lonely elderly patients. They love to play games or just talk. Most of our patients are not able to leave their home so we come to them to offer them socialization and a break from the monotony.
Volunteering at Homestead hospice is very flexible, volunteers make visits when they would like and as often as they'd like. To begin we have a brief orientation about hospice and require a tuberculosis skin test and drug screen (which we complete in house at the convenience of the volunteer).
We'd love to have you join our team for 2019!
**Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
