The PIT (Point-In-Time) Count survey is done annually and provides a one-day count of the homeless population nationwide. The NVFS SERVE Shelter is supporting Prince William County’s efforts by recruiting volunteers to assist at their headquarters and to go out in teams to find the unsheltered. Duties vary based on role. Interested volunteers must be available to attend mandatory training on January 18 in addition to being available on the evening of January 22.
