ALIVE Rescue Associate Board Descriptions and Member Requirements for 2022
GOALS OF THE BOARD
The Associate Board is made up of professionals who are dedicated to supporting ALIVE Rescue and its mission. Their main responsibility is to raise $48,000 in additional revenue during the calendar year (January - December). In addition, they will...
- Spread the word to friends, family, and colleagues about our mission.
- Bring tools, resources, and contacts to ALIVE Rescue to help the organization grow.
PROFITS FROM THE BOARD
The Associate Board will help ALIVE Rescue raise $48,000 in the calendar year. This money goes towards everything from vet fees and supplies to community clinics and events hosted by ALIVE Rescue.
REQUIREMENTS
The Associate Board member will...
- Pay an Annual Membership Fee of $150.00. (You’ll get this back in swag!)
- Attend 6 Associate Board meetings per calendar year.
- Create a Facebook Fundraising page for our annual Giving Tuesday Campaign with a minimum fundraising goal of $500.00.
- Solicit and obtain 5 silent or live auction items for ALIVE Rescue’s annual "Lucky for Life" Gala valued at $100.00 or more each, or secure $500.00 in sponsorship for the event.
- Separate from ALIVE Rescue’s current established events, throw an event(s) which will generate $500.00 or more for ALIVE Rescue.
- Create a fundraising page for Shelter Shiver that will generate $1,250 or secure $1,250 in sponsorship for the event.
INCENTIVES
To thank our Associate Board members for their above and beyond commitment, each member will....
- Be recognized on our "Who We Are" website page and in our "Lucky for Life" Gala Book
- Receive $150.00 in free ALIVE Rescue swag per year (t-shirt, hoodie, sweatpants, and tote).
- Be invited to participate in ALIVE Rescue’s "Associate Board Rescue Day" at Chicago Animal Care and Control.
- Name 1 cat or dog we save during the year.
- Attend the Annual Associate Board appreciation party.
- Be a part of saving more lives!

We take on the responsibility to save, rehabilitate and place abandoned, abused and stray animals. We provide medical, behavioral and physical support for animals despite their age, health and/or breed. ALIVE promotes sustainable living and care giving by building awareness, appreciation and respect for all animals and the environment within our communities.

ALIVE Rescue is a volunteer run organization who rescues cats and dogs who would otherwise be euthanized. ALIVE is proud to be the first green animal rescue in Chicago.
