Greetings!
Companion Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for qualified Safety First Ambassadors for our High Fall Risk Patients. This position will require you to visit patient homes or place of residence on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Ambassadors will be fully trained in safety measures and precautions along with some infection control measures. Interns will be responsible for checking patients homes or place of residence to assist with fall prevention and safety precautions program. Ambassadors will effectively teach patients and family members on proper safety measures.
This position would be an excellent fit for those who are in training or practicing: nursing, healthcare administration, marketing relations, fire and safety, fire fighters, EMT's, building inspectors, inspectors, maintenance, etc.
Requirements:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must have some experience in the healthcare field or elder care
-Must have a negative TB test result
-Must have a cleared background check
