Celebrate National Public Lands Day 2019 by helping ecologically restore your San Antonio River! There are three locations along the river where your service is needed: Headwaters Sanctuary, Confluence Park and Acequia Park (paddling only. Duties include clean up, weeding, planting, trail maintenance, restoration planting, ecological enhancements and viewshed management.
Snacks, swag and an opportunity to win a super cool prize are generously provided by REI San Antonio.

Mission Statement
The San Antonio River Foundation's mission is to enhance the natural beauty, recreational use and public appreciation of the entire San Antonio River through Bexar, Wilson, Karnes and Goliad counties. The River Foundation relies on community support and involvement to fulfill our mission.
Description
Since our founding in 2003, we have been supported by donations from the private sector - individuals, businesses and corporations. A 501(c)3 organization described under code 509(a)(1), the San Antonio River Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors who receive input from a variety of advisory committees. The River Foundation offices are located inside the San Antonio River Authority building, 100 E. Guenther Street.
