The Team Recruitment Chair serves as the primary lead for recruiting new Walk teams and executing the Corporate Team Kickoff Event. This position will assemble a sub-committee that can recruit new teams from all sectors of the community with a focus on corporate teams. They also provide fundraising guidance to new Team Captains. Exhibit excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Oversee Team Recruitment committee meetings/check-ins and monitor progress to goals. Develop and implement strategies to recruit new teams in the community. Ability to work well in a team environment, delegate tasks and work hand in hand with other committee members and Alzheimer's Association staff.

The Kingsport office is part of the Alzheimer's Association's Tennessee Chapter that serves 85 counties in Tennessee and Virginia with offices in Nashville, Memphis, Johnson City, Chattanooga and Knoxville. Since 1980, the Chapter has provided reliable information and care consultation; created supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced public policy changes. Today, the Tennessee Chapter serve the over 120,000 affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias as well as the over 140,000 people involved as caregivers.
