Are you looking for a new opportunity to give back to the community in 2019? Walk With Sally has an opportunity for you that will work with both your schedule and your location.
When Cancer hits the family it changes everything, especially for the child. Walk With Sally is dedicated to providing hope through our individualized mentoring and community support services to empower children experiencing trauma through a parent, guardians, or sibling's cancer journey. No one should face a loved one's cancer alone. We are looking for mentors to provide hope for these children and their families.
Become a Walk With Sally Mentor
To become a mentor you must have lived with or lost a loved one to cancer or are a cancer survivor. You must be able to commit to the program for a minimum of 1 year. The hours shared together are 6-8 hours per month. All mentors must successfully complete and application, interview and background checks.
The location listed above is not exactly where you will be volunteering. We have children on our waitlist all over the Greater Los Angeles area and create listing for volunteers near where we have children in need of a mentor.
Please contact info@walkwithsally.org for more information or submit your interest through Vol Match. Please feel free to check out our website at www.walkwithsally.org!
